Donations

Zeffy is a donation platform that is specifically set up to collect donations for nonprofit organizations. The platform is very customizable and takes care of the usual requirements a nonprofit organization has with providing receipts with our Tax ID listed. It will automatically provide a year-end receipt in January to all donors, including a summary of their donations and the dates they were made. You can set up Zeffy to collect a one-time, weekly, monthly, or annual donation. Those donors who choose to set up recurring donations will be given a portal on Zeffy where they can adjust the amount, frequency, pause, and payment options. One nice thing is that Zeffy will ask your donors to cover the processing fee; 80% of the time, they will take care of it but we will never pay a processing fee so we will always receive the full donation. You can also set up additional questions you would like your donor to fill out. Funds will be automatically deposited into our bank.

 Yearly family contributions should all be processed and submitted via Zeffy on the team’s website. This will allow families to donate on a monthly, annual, or one-time basis. Also, when someone donates via the team's website, they are forced to enter a student’s name. They also provide a receipt for the donation, which will be emailed to them.
